APPEARANCE: Light chestnut-colored wine with amber highlights, clean and bright. Golden ring, clean and bright.

NOSE: Intense nose with aromas of nuts such as almond, aromas of vanilla, wood, and tobacco, typical of oxidative aging.

MOUTH: Pleasant entry on the palate, balanced and structured, with a long and persistent finish that recalls the aromas of nuts from the olfaction.

1. as an Aperitif

Oloroso wine, with its robust body and notes of nuts, wood, and spices, is an ideal aperitif. It is generally served between 12 and 14 ºC, and its complexity makes it an excellent option to whet the appetite before a meal.

  • Accompanied by nuts, olives, or cured cheeses such as Manchego or Parmesan, its saline and dry character perfectly complements these intense flavors.

2. with Food

Unlike other fortified wines, oloroso has enough structure to accompany main dishes with strong flavors. It is an exceptional option to pair with:

  • Red meats: Its intensity balances perfectly with cuts of beef, lamb, or roasted pork.
  • Stews and casseroles: Oloroso enhances the flavor of traditional spoon dishes, such as meat stews or stews with spices.
  • Game: The smoky and spicy flavors of game (deer, wild boar) combine well with the richness of the wine.
